Running - First success

June 15, 2008: Yes! I made it! :D After another week without any sports...and even with a lot of rain today, I motivated myself to go for the "Brückenrunde"...and I manged for the first time to run the whole round without any walking in between :-) Whats in for next week? I need to manage at least once - better - twice within the week to go for a run! Let's see, how we can combine that with the lots and lots of work :-/

June 8, 2008: Second attempt - after not managing to do any sports during the whole week - this time together with my colleague Iris. Unfortunately not any better than the first try, but at least getting a little bit further before needing some time walking. At the end some good incentive to speed up a little bit - at least for some 100 meters: The last kiosk before the car was about to close...however, this time we were faster ;-) Emptied a mere liter of "Apfelschorle"!

Running - Training ground

June 1, 2008: Found a training ground for preparation towards the marathon...the "brigde round" ("Brückenrunde") in Bonn. Something between 10 and 13 km length... First attempt to make it was over after around km 6 or 7. But after some 1 to 2 km walking I managed to finish the round running the rest :-) Let's hope for some improvement...

Setting some new goals for my self these days...and one, that I am working on since some time now, is to loose some weight :roll: Note: Doing consulting business for longer, is not good for your body shape ;-) So what to do, to make sure there will be some more sport activities required in the next couple of days, weeks, months?
